    A Moment of Comfort

    [Day 18 of 30]:  Sometimes, you can use your characters to give yourself exactly what is needed.  Sometimes they need to calm down, so that you don’t wear out your readers or yourself.  And that’s what I had to do today. I needed my story and my life to calm down for just a moment, and since I figure I can edit it out if I don’t like it later, there’s nothing stopping me from writing exactly what I want and need right now.  Apparently writing means listening to myself and my characters needs.  And this is what my writing needed today.
